If you think about that quote, it should apply to all aspects of your life. When life gets too serious we loose our "spirit of play". We loose that essence that makes us who we are.
As a speaker you want to be 100% YOU. Nothing more, nothing less. And as you go through the Toastmasters program you will start to experience that confidence that our District Governor Kristina talks about, and that Confidence is YOU shining through.
My mission as LGET is to "Enhance the performance of... Individuals, clubs". The way that is done is by getting through the educational programs that are laid out in Toastmasters. It has been around for 85 years because it is workable.
Your job is to work the program ... complete your Competent Communicator and Advanced Communicator Manuals. Strive to reach the highest level of Toastmasters ... DTM, Distinguished Toastmaster. As you attain those levels you will start to experience ... CONFIDENCE – LEADERSHIP – SERVICE.
