Robin Dunlap, Area 10 Governor, joined Toastmasters in 2007 to overcome my fear of public speaking, gain self-confidence, build my communication and leadership skills, and for personal growth. I have completed my CC and ACB as well as competed in 3 contests, placing 2nd at the Area level in both Table Topics and International Speech contest and 2nd at the Division level for International Speech contest. I have also held the club officer positions of VP Membership and VP Education. I have learned valuable skills from Toastmasters, and I’m excited about sharing what I have learned through training sessions with other clubs and interacting with club members. When I’m not promoting Toastmasters I enjoy sanding furniture odds and ends or wooden pieces and painting them in festive colors. | |
