Amit Talati has been a member of Toastmasters since 2007. He has always looked for creative ways to present messages that stick. Exchanging ideas and thoughts all require speaking, and that is what Toastmasters is about. Amit became Area Governor to share his speaking experiences, as well as help club achieve their goals. Leadership is also an integral part of Toastmasters. Prior to this, he was VP PR at Achiever Toastmaster’s, his home club. Amit is looking forward serving the division and district. Amit is a certified project manager (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI), working with a financial institution. He is a graduate from the Indian Institute of Technology with a degree in Aerospace Engineering, as well as a Masters in Computer Engg. from the Florida Atlantic University. When not working or involved with Toastmasters, Amit spends time with his family (wife Rupal, and two kids). He loves music, reading, writing and getting involved in the community. | |
