I am a business coach for those with a technical background and/or limited business experience (my own educational background includes a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering).  I believe that anything can be turned into a game, especially in business.  As the coach, I help my clients (the players) play their game better.

I am an active member of three Toastmaster clubs in West Palm Beach (Talk of the Town, Freddy's Forum and Sunset Speakers) and have held the club officer positions of Webmaster, Secretary, Vice President of Public Relations, Vice President of Education and President.  I am the Immediate Past Area 42 Governor.

In June 2010, I participated in the Guinness World Record attempt for the longest continuous speechathon (80 hours, 1 minute, 3 seconds).  I was an audience member for more than 40 hours and a speaker for 2 hours.

I enjoy sports, stories and traveling (and have involved all three in my Toastmasters experience).

***Announcement: The Division D Evaluation & Humorous Speech Contests will take place at the SFWMD in West Palm Beach on Saturday, October 2, 2010 from 9am-1pm (see flyer attachment below).  Register now!!!***

Hi, I am John Schneyer, member of Boca Raton Toastmasters, and a charter member of the Palm Beach Advanced Toastmasters club.

I have served as Vice President of Education (VPE) and delivered VPE training at Toastmasters Leadership Institute (TLI).

I have served as Chief Judge for both Area and Division Contests and as a judge in Club level contests.

As Toastmasters is a process driven, educational organization, I encourage you to consider:

1) if something is not going well in your club or Toastmasters experience, ask "What in our process allows this to happen?"  Keep asking until you find the root cause and then take actions to eliminate it.

2) if something is going well in your club or Toastmasters experience, ask "What in our process enables this to happen?"  Keep asking until you find all the causes and then take actions to make sure you don't stop and that you can replicate it into other areas.

This is the approach I will be taking in my role as Area Governor.  Give me a call and I will help.

Remember, if it isn't fun, it isn't Toastmasters.
