Rhoda Rose Olson joined Toastmasters in February 2008. She became VP-Public Relations, then President of Sarasota Herald-Tribune Toastmasters Club, Sarasota, Florida. Rhoda Rose recently moved from Presidency to Area 62 Governor after serving as Assistant Area 62 Governor in 2008-2009. Rhoda Rose is also a charter member of the new Sarasota Herald-Tribune Advanced Media Group Toastmaster Club and is serving as an officer, Sergeant at Arms, of this advanced club. She currently has her Advanced Leader Bronze Award and her Advanced Communicator Bronze Award. She is now working on her Advanced Communicator Silver Award, heading toward her DTM . She has served as a presenter for the Vice-President of Membership session in 2008 District Officer Training. She will be the Keynote Speaker for the Division F Officer Training Session on August 6, 2009. Rhoda Rose is a motivational speaker, a success "bee happy" coach, as well as a singer and pianist. She currently has a one-woman show called "Let Your Light Shine". In this show, she uses the beauty of music, the fun of humor and the encouragement of inspiration to entertain. She currently resides in Lakewood Ranch, Florida where she enjoys her "green community" in its beautiful nature.
