Jim joined Toastmasters in 2000 when he became a member of Vocal Point Toastmasters in St. Petersburg, Florida. In 2004, he became a member of Palm Harbor Toastmasters. He has served as President, Vice President of Education and Vice President of Membership with Palm Harbor Toastmasters. Jim achieved his Advanced Communicator Gold Award in June 2009. He is the Area 74 Governor beginning July 1st. He is looking forward to working with the outstanding clubs in his area and helping District 47 become a President's Distinguished District in 2009-2010.
