Denison joined Healing Communicators Club 7178 in September 2007 and Masters of Excellence Club 933001 in March 2008. She served as President of Club 933001 for 2008/2009 and was committed to making Club 933001 visible at every level of Toastmasters.

Although she loves the speaking and leadership aspects of Toastmasters, Denison’s favorite benefit is in the networking opportunities. The highlights of her Toastmasters experience are placing third in the First Timers Competition at the 2007 District 47 Fall Conference, installing her spouse as a Toastmaster and the Minister of Tourism and Aviation, Sen. Hon. Vincent Vanderpool-Wallace as an Honorary Member of Club 933001.

Denison graduated from St. John’s College in 1983 and the College of The Bahamas in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management. She is active in her church where she assists with the management of the church’s web site and the LOVE Ministry (Ladies of Virtue Emerging) a program dedicated to mentoring young women.

Denison is passionate about making a positive impact on the tourism sector and began her career with the Ministry of Tourism and Aviation in 1983. She is married to TM Edwin Balfour and they have one son, Edwin.
