Throughout her Toastmasters career, Glennette has enjoyed serving in many other capacities including Assistant Area Governor – Education (Area 44), Judge and Chief Judge-District 47 International Speech Contest, Division I participant in District 47 Table Topics Contest, a Sponsor and Mentor of Two (2) Clubs within Bahamas Division I and to many Toastmasters within the country. Glennette has a passion for helping and empowering people and when not involved with Toastmasters she can be found assisting the Child Protection Council, The Crises Center of the Bahamas, the National Trust and other charitable organizations. An Attorney-at-law by profession, Glennette is employed as the Manager of Legal and Compliance Services at Scotiabank (Bahamas) Limited. Glennette T. Reckley, ACG/ALB joined Healing Communicators Toastmasters Club 7178 in July, 2003 and has served in many Officer roles including Vice President – Public Relations, Vice President – Education and President. During your tenure as President of Club 7178, the Club achieved many goals including the Smedley Award, Talk Up Toastmasters Award, Beat the Clock Award, President’s Distinguished Designation and Most Outstanding Club Award (Bahamas Division I).
