Division B Area Directors

Area B20 Director Elaine JoggerstArea B20 - Elaine Joggerst, ACB, ALB

Elaine began her Toastmasters career in 2009 by co-founding the current Citrix Toastmasters club.  This club began as a two-person passionate team. She has held almost every role since that time, specializing in leadership and membership. As of July 2016, Elaine holds the Advanced Communicator Bronze and Advanced Leader Bronze designations and hopes to reach Distinguished Toastmaster by the end of 2017.  In her personal life, she is always on the move!  She has started a company and sold it, is a competitive swimmer, has a wonderful husband and four cats, is fulfilled by event planning, and likes to think she is a foodie!

Area B21 Director Paolo ClaudioArea B21 - Paolo Claudio, CC, ALB

Paolo Claudio has been a member of Toastmasters International since 2013. He has served as president for his home club, American Express Toastmasters, leading the club to a President’s Distinguished year. Paolo has competed in multiple area contests and has served as contest master for several area and division contests. As of July 2016, Paolo holds the Competent Communicator and Advanced Leader Bronze designations and is actively pursuing the achievement of Distinguished Toastmaster.

Professionally, Paolo is a software engineer at American Express. During his free time, he enjoys going to the beach, playing guitar, breaking world records, singing karaoke, dancing salsa and going to concerts.

Area B22 Director Jeffrey MutnikArea B22 - Jeffrey Mutnik, ACG, ALB

Jeff Mutnik was a co-founder of his firm’s Toastmasters club, BPB Talking Heads, and has been its cheerleader ever since. As a past president and vice president education of his club, he has led by experience as well as by example, having competed and volunteered in several area/division contests. Jeff holds the designations of Advanced Communicator Gold and Advanced Leader Silver and is working toward becoming a Distinguished Toastmaster.
 
Jeff runs the Wealth Services group of Berkowitz Pollack Brant Advisors and Accountants, where he specializes in helping families structure their assets in tax-efficient manners. As a past World Board member and North American chairman of PrimeGlobal, a worldwide association of accounting firms, he has had the opportunity to travel around the country and the world. Jeff is an avid sports fan and enjoys experiencing life.

Area B23 Director Nicholas SmithArea B23 - Nicholas Smith, ACB, ALB

Nick Smith has been a member of Toastmasters International since 2006. He has served as president, vice president education, vice president membership, vice president public relations, secretary and treasurer for the three different clubs he has been part of.
Nick works in the information technology field as IT director for a web services company. He most enjoys the leadership aspects of Toastmasters.

Area B24 Director Marilyn BrownArea B24 - Marilyn Brown, ACS, ALB

Marilyn Brown joined Toastmasters International in April 2012 in an effort to expand her network after 26 years with American Express. From the first meeting with Club Awesome, she was hooked! 
During this time, Marilyn has achieved her Advanced Communicator Silver and Advanced Leader Bronze designations and served as president and vice president education for Club Awesome. 
Professionally, Marilyn is a leadership and career coach with PeopleTek Coaching, working with organizations to develop more effective teams to drive better outcomes and business results. She is certified in self- awareness instruments such as Myers-Briggs, DiSC, TKI-Conflict and 5 Behaviors of a Cohesive Team. Self-awareness is frequently the topic of many of Marilyn’s speeches and TLI workshops. Marilyn is looking forward to increasing her impact within Toastmasters and working toward her DTM designation, hopefully in November 2017.
